What I Fear As An Autism Parent

As a mom to an autistic child, I can't help but wonder, "what happens to my kid when I'm gone?". Raising our son is complicated as it is. How much more complicated would things turn out if we weren't here anymore?

I won't ask how you are because I know things aren't okay lately. But I want you to know that things will get better. We don't know when, but it will. I trust that after some odd months or even years, things will be much better than they are today.
