This little corner of the internet first came to life in July 2013 on Blogger.com. Since then, it’s been through quite the journey, hopping from Blogger to WordPress, changing domains, and even going on an extended hiatus in 2016.
But like any good story, it found its way back to where it started. Now, it’s reborn on Blogger once again, with fresh pages, a familiar voice, and the same love for writing.
Here, I write about… well, whatever inspires me at the moment. It could be personal musings, random thoughts, or stories that might make you think (or laugh). Some days, it might be quiet. Other days, I just can’t help but write.
And so, I write again.
About the Blogger
Hi! I’m Genesis, a blogger, voice actor, former training specialist, wife, mom, an all-around storyteller, and now a podcaster.
I’ve been scribbling thoughts online since my college days, though back then my blogs came and went as life kept me busy with school, band practice, volleyball, and everything in between.
Things got serious in 2013 when I returned to blogging as a mom. My first readers were mostly family, friends, and a handful of kind strangers who stumbled upon my posts through Google. Over time, I experimented with platforms, discovered the joys of WordPress, and then, full circle, found my way back to Blogger, where it all began.
Life happened (as it does), and with work and home responsibilities piling up, blogging had to take a back seat. But in 2017, the itch to write returned, and here I am, still typing away, even if it’s just into the void, trusting that someone out there might find something here worth reading.

- My Resting-B*tch-Face is just my default look (promise, I’m friendly).
- Coffee and tea are my lifeblood.
- I once dreamed of being a veterinarian — I still love animals, especially dogs.
- Former volleyball player.
- Play guitar and ukulele when I can.
- Proud Aspie mom.
- Married to my very own “rockstar” (love your own, right?).
- My playlists are packed with ska, reggae, soul, jazz, blues, and funk. But I like listening to other genres, too.
- Born and raised in Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
- Sleep? What’s that?
- Occasionally talk to myself (it’s called brainstorming).
- Cheese is life.
- I can’t stay offline for too long.
